6th SGDF SINGAPORE OPEN DANCESPORT CHAMPIONSHIPS
featuring
2005 IDSF ASIAN PACIFIC DANCESPORT CHAMPIONSHIPS
Crazily had to wake up like early in the morning at 7am to start preparing for our competition. Caryn had to come all the way to my place from woodlands to get our things done up.
Its definitely alot of things to prepare.
Had get the bronzer evenly applied onto our bare skins.
Put on of dance costumes
Had our 5 inch thick of make-up applied onto our face.
Had our 6 layers of hair gel and hair spray stuck to our hair as usual.
Had to help our friends to do our either their make-up or hair styling.
hmmmmm......
Down to the competition floor.... me and Theo... Hmmm...
I would say that we did our best. After all we are still beginners. The fact is that its another experience gained. And we would do well or even try to do better the next time.
We sort of screwed up our cha-cha-cha routine. But we were still calm and continued as normal even though the dance would then look weird *maybe*.
And for our rumba.... I would say that we did well to our expectation, I suppose... (Am I right Theo). We actually amazingly improvise our rumba routine by sort of changing our steps.
I would say that I am sort of both satisfied and also not quite satisfied with the overall results.
We both came out as 6th position in most of dance. But we are satisfied that we actually enjoyed the dance. It was totally fun. And finally, we are able to get into the finals.
Was happy for those who got the first 3 positions. And I would have to salute to Vanessa. For all 5 dances, she and Brennan got champion. But its the fact that she is good.
But anyway, would have to plan up for the next dance competition if we still intend to compete.
And we would really need to practice hard.
Overall we all had a great time and for a first time, I felt totally calm for the competition. But the irritating part is that... most of my outside friends would either say I look like as though I just finish singing the 7th month getai, they would keep asking if I won any trophy... Sian to the max..
Will upload the pictures of the competition once I get the pictures from my dance partner.
