2 weeks into my job and also 2 weeks into my Strategy module.

Work is still going on pretty fine... but sometimes the certain 'her' can get quite attitute sometimes. But till now it seems pretty ok... and I hope it stays on like this.

As for strategy, I just completed the first assignment and its just the beginning. It's really a nerve-wreaking and hair pulling session. Had almost 3 sleepless nights (Friday, Sat & Sun) just trying to get our brain cracking with all the critical thinking that we could ever have our brain juice squeezed. Soon the next upcoming assignments and final exam will arrive... OMG! More brain cells is gonna deplete and die off.

Anyway, I have kind of have no intention to post on my Mount KK trip. Lol.. just too lazy to do so...

It's the end of the resting and slacking period. I have finally found an admin job to tie me over some financials over the next few months while still studying and trying to get my studies complete soon.

Well, as for those who do not know, I have just returned from the most tiring and cold and scary yet beautiful trip recently. Satisfying yet not that satisfying trip.

'Adventure beyond the clouds!' I will update on this trip soon once I have received all the pictures taken by the rest of the peeps as I did not have any camera with me. :)

I have been feeling fitter for the fact that I have been working out and training when I have been out of work. Not forgetting the fact that I still do burn midnight oil not for studying but to watch online taiwan dramas.

In just a few days time I will be on my trip to Mount Kota Kinabalu. Wish me luck and hope I nothing will happen and I will be up the peak safely to watch a beautiful sun rise and the nice scenery. :)

Heya! It's been quite awhile that I last blogged. My darling Aggy actually asked if I simply just can't be bothered to blog anymore.. Hahaha... well that's quite right. But just once in a blue black moon updates here and there, if there's any... haha

Well... My updates for the time been.
I'm have already been officially out of job for more than a month ever since my company SG office closed. Have not achieved of what I was supposed to do as yet till now and my parents are ranting over the fact that I have not started looking for a job. But I think I would need to submit some resumes here and there before my bank account starts shouting for HELP!

Actually, I have my plans and I am not ready to start work anytime soon. This is the current great opportunity that I can really rest and slack at home or outside with friends.
Fact that I also need to train my stamina before my trip to Mount Kota Kinabalu. Been heading to the gym but not as often now as my friend had been training me for night runs and static training. Now most of the time my body are sore after all the workout. Would really thank him for pushing my limit and tolerance level. Still, I really need to sweat out more and shed more weight or rather maybe tone up my body. Now that I do not own my previous figure which I used to have when I was still a dancer. Sigh... FAT FAT FAT!!!!

More and more training to go. See ya!

Ok.... tomorrow is the last paper of the 1st half semester. The 1st paper I had was horrid and I am not expecting much from it. So I have to make sure I get through with the Service Marketing paper which I will be having tomorrow.

Study study study... but also time for some outings which I promised a friend for her daughter's birthday and also the lazy me... is hooked to youtube yet again and this time is on Australia Next Top Model... now that I'm done with Tyra Banks' ANTM cycle 13.

YES... I know... it's another bimbotic show but I just love it... having to watch the photo-shoots and all the bitching among the girls in the house. Haha...

And then, I am lack of sleep. It's Monday and meow was off to work while I popped down Changi Airport T3 to STUDY!!! Head got heavier and heavier due to the lack of sleep... Hurhur... I needed some de-stressing session.... guess what, I just headed into Body Contours for a full Javaness mix Chinese Tui Na body massage. Shiok-ness and so much refreshing.

Just headed out from the showers... Turned to my back towards the mirror.... damn!!! I have bruises over my top back. That shows how stiff my shoulder and back muscles are! OMG... But overall it was great!!

AND NOW! Back bury my head in all my notes and books again. Sigh!!

28th April 2009.... In another 2 days time, it really the mark of starting to count down the last month to the closure of our office.

Met up with Sulie darling yesterday for dinner at Bakerzin and did a little window shopping in search of the upcoming make-up that I will be getting....
For those who know me, knows that I am a loyal fan to YSL.... the sleek, elegant golden case of Foundation, the sleek golden tube of mascara.... oh my.... I simply just can't wait to get my hands on them soon.

I tried the SKII which my darling Aggy recommended me.... I still felt a missing touch as compared to YSL... but probably I didn't try it onto my face... But the YSL has always being giving me the same flawless effect...

The salesgirl introduced me to a new product and that would be the Matt Touch Primer but its in blue which is for brightening... Making my look more awake after the application. Just a little test and I fell in love with it. And it can also be brought out and used as touch up to the make up when my face starts to oil..

Hur hur hur... Looks like I'm gonna pamper myself with some expensive treat soon... keke....

Hey! I'm back with some updating.....

Ok... everyone knows that I am going to be out of job real real soon... and I'm still counting down with enthusiasm. And a lot of people are saying that I'm crazy to be happy especially when the economy is damn darn bad now. But I don't care what others say and I will state the reason why. keke...

But I definitely have some stuff tentatively planned for me for the month of June and July. And some are plans are confirmed and I'm freaking looking forward to it.

I would definitely hit the gym regularly and lose those FATS and to train my stamina for the trip to Mount Kota Kinabalu in July. Then it would be another bike trip to Sunway Lagoon together with my biker friends.

I am definitely gonna live my life to the fullest! Heeehaaaa!!!

For those who knew me long enough would know that I used to working as a lounge hostess in Orchard Hotel Intermezzo Bar.

I was thankful to that one person (Director of HR) who hired me as a temporary staff with not much considerations. If it's not for an email notification about his upcoming birthday, I guess I would not have the chance to get in contact with him again. It's really nice keeping touch again and to know that he is doing well in the hotel industry in China.

Well, hope to hear from him via email again.

2 months...?? 1 month.........?????

My blog had been stagnant for like almost a very long time. Too long that I don't remember what are the stuff that I have really done BUT just the usual routine as to counting down the number of days I have left before my current company finally closes down.

To tell you the truth, I am seriously looking forward to it!

CNY is over, VDay is over.... what's next? Boring.................. BLAH!!!
Been too lazy to blog mostly draws down to the reason that I have hooked to online video shows.
Which lately had been the ANTM and now I am into the end of Cycle 9.
It's really interesting to see how the girls are been so bitchy and bimbotic lookalike esp when they start screaming the top of their voice... haha... but its really interesting and I learnt that it's really not easy been a model.

I love 'Miss' J Alexander (fyi.. it's HE)... cool runway trainer guy who walks in heels really well! And the other J, Jay Manuel who is really a great creative director. And of cos, I love Tyra Banks big time. Big Big Inspiration!! Love Ken Paves who is a great hair-stylist... and know what, I just received my package on my Hot tools curling iron and also including CHI heat protection spray and KEN PAVES Hair finisher! It smells really good.

Had a big hoo-haa over my curling iron as I needed to get a power converter for it since its only 120V with a US 2-flat pin plug. Got the wrong converter which only can hold up to 70watts and my curling iron was like 80watts... so it got burnt off... ONLY the power converter got burnt off...

Phew... thank god it has the auto cut off heat thermal thingy and saved my curling iron. Dad got me another power converter instead for 18bucks.

Happy 牛(Niu) Year!!

Time flies.... like REAL fast! And it's like coming the end of January of 2009. Another 128 days to the closure of my SG office and I'm really looking forward to it more than anything else.
CNY is just round the corner.... so it's gonna be another long weekend. And I guess I might just 'geng' another day of MC (Wednesday).

Haven really get into the mood of exploring my Mac book since it's over at the BF's place most of the time and I have yet to get rid of my irritating Dell notebook back home.

At the moment, I'm getting into the mood of have curls on my hair... rather than some mundane, dull, semi-straight hair which can get frizzed up making a bad hair day!
Got some information to DIY my own curly hair with the handy curling iron. Hope I can make full use of it without much trouble.
With some online recommendations, I got myself a HOT TOOLS Professional Spring Curling Iron, a bottle of Heat Guard protection spray .... I dun wanna have my hair end up damaged... and lastly a Finishing spray to maintain the curls for the day.
Looking forward to receiving my package early and start trying out myself.

It's the end of another weekend.... and here welcome to the new working day....

It has been the rather usual routine week, just that for this 2 weeks, there are slightly more public holidays. Christmas just passed and we had a little small gathering.... and again, it was me and Ash, we did the cooking.

Upcoming would the New Year's Day.... the official end of 2008.

Time passes really so damn freaking fast for this year 2008. So fast that sometimes I can hardly catch up and sometimes I realised that I have been thinking alot recently and with more dreaming in my sleep.... causing me to have no proper sleep.

Having to watch movies at home computer is a good thing to help save the most money. But today was a movie night out. 'TWILIGHT'

Didn't really know what exactly the storyline was all the while till the middle of the show. All I previously thought was some super hero movie. Turns out yet again, it's another Vampire movies. Not like I do not like those kind of movies, but rather I have started to grow fond of those Vampire shows. First was 'Underworld' about those wolfs and vampires, then 'Moonlight' serials. Vampires of good and evil. Sometimes it starts to make me wonder and believe that they might really exist in our world.

'Twilight', there wasn't much of a storyline but mainly romance which is the typical scene where Vampires falls in love with a human. Things just gets so sweet. But I guess it's the lead actor (Robert Pattinson) who was rather cute. Though he looked a bit GAY with his super powdered face together with the lipgloss, that made him looked like a drug addict for some reason, or a the Joker in batman.... but he gets cuter in different scenes.

Before I end off.... I would say my MacBook had been such a great baby except that I have no idea why is the adapter is so hot while charging up my laptop.

My New MacBook

~20th Dec 2008~

My newly purchased MacBook from Sim Lim Square. She is sure a sleek, sweet beauty!! I just simply can't resist the temptation to use her immediately when I reached home!

Well, I have had the thought of trashing away my 3+ yrs old Dell XP laptop sometime back. It has given me so much problems especially regarding the lappy viruses. It's really irritating... But 3 yrs, I guess it's time to let my Dell laptop to relax just for simple usage of Internet exploring and MSN-chats.

This beauty MacBook I am using now, I would say that it is quite a good buy with an upgrade of 4gb ram as compared to my old Dell which simply has not much functions.

I shall let her re-charge as the battery is running low. Then I will start playing around with DreamWeaver, Photoshop and try to get the hang of it.

As for now, it's time to prepare to have dinner at Perling, Msia.

Everything is just gonna END!

A pleasant news was announced this morning once I entered the office... Well at least to me it's GOOD NEWS... but definitely not to my boss and colleague.

Remember about me mentioning about wanting to leave my current company.
And I was talking about this matter to my Project manager like almost recently that I was hoping for the Singapore office to close by end May 2009.

This decision was finally made by the head of those in Netherlands.

Now I dun have fumble about whether should I or should I not leave the company until I complete my studies.

But now... I don't wish to leave also cannot liao... Haha.... I guess, sometimes life's fated! Really FATED!! Guess it's time to take a short break.... bout 1 - 2 mths before I start looking for another new job. Wow....!! Seriously, I can't wait for the day to come!!!

For that time, I guess I will take 1 month time off from work and go to the gym to lose weight and tone up. It about time I do something and get back my stamina. I would also need to prepare some formal clothes for my next upcoming job.

Had my final paper yesterday and I have nothing much to comment. I did study.... the whole 6 units including the textbook... BUT... it's crap... though this paper more on opinion based questions... those questions that came out are those that I did not really emphasize much when study.... oh crap....

Anyway.... it's crap to have been raining damn freaking heavily for the past few days!! And it's also crap that I have to get back to work on a Friday...

The Month of November

Had my first exam paper on the 4th of Nov 08, Tuesday, on Marketing Comm. This paper, I guess it's gonna be a flop! Sigh!! Not because I did not study, though it was a little last minute, but because the tips given my the Head of Marketing is totally F**ked Up!! And even we peeps email him, there is no response from him! Argh!!!

This is the truth as even the Marketing Lecturers can't stand him totally. My tutor pestered him for some information but THE TIPS ARE TOTALLY FALSE.... So whatever we studied gone down to drain... Even my CB module mate , Chuan Tee, agrees.

TOTALLY CRAP!!

Oh well, after exam, me and Chuan Tee went to Airport T3 for our lunch... totally starving as I didn't manage to have breakfast. Was supposed to wait for Lian Chin for lunch instead... but to accompany Chuan Tee, I order a side salad and had my main lunch at Popeye Chicken with Lian Chin... and guess with all the kinds of food I had, explains for the cough I am having now and plus due to lack of proper rest.

Next upcoming exam on 13th Nov 08, Thursday, Consumer Behavior (CB) exam. The last paper and the paper which the lecturer specifically told us that we had to study every single chapter... Ya... she is the lecturer who can't stand the Head of Marketing.

Back at work for the moment from Wednesday - Friday to do up the Korea ECRs payments but gonna study for my exam in the office at the same time since my work is almost about done. Heehee....

Yup... I did mentioned that it's NOVEMBER!! My birthday is coming up really soon.... but.... not really expecting on any celebrations except for the combined early celebration for me together with Ah Siao whose birthday is on the 12th Nov. Then on the 22nd - 23rd Nov would be a short trip to Muar for a Magdaco anniversary. Looking forward to OTAHS!!! Then it would be the National Bike Week held on 28th - 30th Nov 08. Nothing much to comment about this as it seems to be a usual routine to me.

Definitely to mention gladly that I finally get to catch up with Aggy on the phone for almost an hour yesterday. It's really been quite a while since we last met up. She is definitely dying for me and Meow to get our butts up to KL... keke... which I am quite looking forward to it as well... Tentatively, we are planning on a Christmas trip up to visit them and take a look at their new lovely rented house. :) We could have a feast on Christmas!! But definitely to exclude someone (tall tall gal).... Haaa.... I and Aggy would definitely not want our ears to be blasted with her hysterical laughter!! So Aggy babe.... most likely our butts leave Singapore on 24th... then leave KL on 28th... :) Will update you again.

Oh... and for the United States Of America!! Congratulation to Obama!! I am quite back-track about this matter but finally catch up quite abit on the video clips loaded in the internet! His speech is awesome!

A packaged of $3K over was signed yesterday at Marina Square together with another close friend of ours.

Since it was 2 couples signing together, both couples made sure that we fight for a good package. But I would say that they are the most flexible bridal shop amount the rest.

It's somehow another step taken by signing the package. Hope there are no regrets.

Ppl at Bliss Bridal are rather accomodating and easy to talk to. But probably it's because they wanna close the deal but most importantly is that everything is stated down in black & white. But I hope the after sales services is up to standard.

But before I decided to sign the contract, I tried on a gown to see if I'm comfortable with.

11th October 2008 Moto-v 4th Anniversary

It was finally the arrival of our Moto-v team to gather and celebrate our team's 4th Anniversary. The first ever bike team that I had been with ever since I started to know them. And sure, a lot of people turned up for the joyous event.

It was sure a damn hot day to begin the day with... scorching hot I would say.... and Ash & my feet almost got FRIED!!

First was to head to Siao's hse to collect the anniversary hand-engraved hard liquor glasses.
Chio-ness!!

Well, got all the stuff, including Meow's ex-company (Hella) sponsor items to Alan's condo before heading down to West Wing Kallang stadium for a Moto-v group photo-taking session which would then be up in the following month Motor Culture magazine.

The day went .... "BUSY"... haha... busy been a loan-shark money collector... haha.... I voluteered up with the collection of the 'entrance fees' and issuing of lucky draw tickets. Meow (no. 04), Me (no. 03) & God-pa Da vinchee gave me his (no. 35).

It was just continuous money collection then to Parkway Parade to collect the cake.

God-pa Da vinchee sure gave me his lucky... Meow's number (04) was called out and so did God-pa's number. Keke... and we won 2 bag-packs which was sponsored by Adventurer (some fifthy rich guy). Of course there were other sponsors.

I would say, it's one event that has loads of give-aways prices.

A little update once again.....

My Fat Cat has taken over a 2nd hand V-strom (6th Sept 08)... he seems delighted... But some maintenance are still required to be done. His 3rd bike ever since I knew him... hmmm... and the 2nd bike within 1 year...

Happy Birthday to my Meow Meow!! Muacks~~!!

Well, this cat of mine is now 31. Hmmm... old cat... haha...
Didn't really celebrate his birthday as half of the day was spent travelling back to Singapore from Port Dickson on the day itself.

We had a short getaway together with Jovan, Mark, Ian (3 brothers), Ah hiam, Jeremy, Cindy, Ah Siao and Ash...

On 22nd Aug 08 (Friday), we set off on our night ride all the way to PD. But before we could get to GP Petronas... the stupid custom jammed like mad! .... Anyway.... we reached PD's chalet at 4+am in the morning... So dark... eerie... Hmmm... I could not sleep well... The beds... omg... SINKS in. The bed frame... seems like any minute its gonna break!

Did nothing much just enjoying the jacuzzi and foot massage on Sat itself. Had a game or 2 at night and hit the beds by 1030pm...

Late Sunday morning, we set off for Singapore.... by the time we almost reached the customs... The sky... damn... it was really dark... and the next time we knew... it was raining crazily...

Anyway... to end the night off... I cooked dinner, soup and stir-fry beehoon for us... Take it as a birthday dinner...

Random-ness.....

As usual... I have nothing else better to do in the office, other than those days which I am busy, I am usual hooked to my tv dramas, watching them on tudou.com. I have not much life to be franked. Haha... but they are most of the time quite satisfying. Simple life I would say.... with only some thoughts of traveling overseas... somewhere far far away.... *KENYA~~ wishing... hmmm* Nothing much to worry about except only when I have my project submittions and examinations.

Simple life = no life... haha...

Singaporeans seriously have not much life.... if it's not eating... it would be watching movies non-stop... Watched 'Red Cliff' and 'The Dark Knight'... not too bad... but I probably just found the movie length a little too long...
And seriously... Tampines GV have a need to re-renovate. The space between the seats are so cramp and the seats are so uncomfortable. I practically have a knee cramp and backache after the whole show.

Anyway... a friend of ours recommended something interesting...
PRAWNING SESSION!!!

Headed over to Bottletree park... new place... and we were sort of the first to be there... Being our first time, our catch were good... loads of prawns...
We had 3 nets and each were almost filled with more than 20 prawns.

4 plates of stir-fry sambal prawns and 1 plate of BBQ prawns...

On a side note.... I know my hair is straight enough but it's still wavey half my hair down... Re-bonding??? hmmm... treatment.... I am saying this because I feel that my hair texture is not as good as before... it seems very frizzy...

I am tempted to have a touch of the Samsung Omnia... it seems pretty cool... but the thought that it's samsung... hmmm... probably... a little skeptical even though I know the new samsung nowadays have a so much better inter-face after using the older versions of Samsung for almost the whole time ever since I start holding a mobile phone and considering I am still very satisfied with my N82 since I got it till now.

~~ My Awesome Trip to Seoul~~

This is my first and last biz trip to Seoul. I am glad that I get the chance to go but yet I had to go through a lot of damn bloody hassle and also missing Meow Meow who was not able to join me for the trip. Don't worry Meow meow... you are forgiven... hahahaha... well, I guessed you had fun without me around also... haha :p

This trip to Korea is really a devastating event at the beginning but at least it turns out sweet at the end... haaa... will tell you shortly.
Firstly, have to really thank DS (my Korean colleague) for spending so much time with me and with all the patience after all the trouble I have been through!!

Well, this trip was made necessary as I had to do a physical stock count there by myself sort of as a form of internal audit....
Everything was going according to plan but things got disrupted totally on Sunday (25th May 08) night when I was packing my luggage, all prepared to set of for my flight in the morning. Not having to travel for like close to 3 years and normally even when traveling, the passports are handled by my mum.... SO..... I did not know that I needed 6 months of passport validity to get through the customs. I only had 2 months.... yes!!! Crazy right....

And best of all, DINERS WORLD TRAVEL!!!
Yes!! Diners... you didn't get me wrong... they did not do their job well enough as to check with the traveler on the specific details when arranging an air-ticket and just assume everything is fine.

'Panic' is the word to describe.... I had to call up SIA to cancel my morning flight (8am) to a night flight (11:50pm) instead. Got hold of DS (korean colleague) to do a change in arrangements. Headed down to the immigration department the next morning trying to settle my passport. But.... at first the lady told me that I only can have my new passport back the next day... which means... another delay of flight... BUT NO!! Fortunately my mum was with me... and she helped me to make sure that the immigration department helped me to get it done by the day itself.

Seriously, they are able to do it but it's a matter of whether they are willing to help or not.

Oh well....
Meow sent me off at the airport and off I go.... But things were not that smooth as yet. Due to bad weather condition in Seoul, Incheon Airport. The aircraft had to be diverted to Japan and waited for almost 2 hours later before really reaching Seoul. Oh man!! What a journey along the way... haha...

The cabin is so dry that I can feel my lips cracking.

Now finally, I have reached Seoul.... and this is the first time traveling alone. Hmmm... pretty cool!!

The Blue Pearl Hotel driver could not wait for me to get out of the airport, so SS Lee had to take the trouble to come all the way to fetch me to the office directly.

At 11am I finally managed to crawl out of the cabin after a hectic overnight flight. Tried to catch some sleep but I only managed to find my comfortable sleeping position after like 2 - 3 hrs later. ^(>.<)^

After hopping onto SS Lee's car... off we go and headed straight to the Korea office... and then knowing that everyone was actually waiting for me to arrive to have lunch together makes me a little embarrassed as I know everything started off with me right at the beginning. Hmmmm.....

But let me inform you.... I have no freaking idea how the parts looked like.... lol...

Love this hotel the best! Very big study table and a very nice toilet... and just look at the toilet cleaning system... hee....

After a long day, I managed to hit the showers and have a nice cool bathe!!
Then was.... DINNER....

The bimbimbap and Kim bap was one of my favorite food there.

Next was followed by shopping at COEX Mall.....

~~Day 2~~ (27th May 08)

Back to office again..... I thought I had nothing to do.... but no... Lucky I did a recount of the stocks at least twice. This time was amazing... I managed to find some more missing parts.

And with the help of DS who knows how the parts looked like... even better!!! 3 or more parts were found. Woohoo!!! Really had the kind of satisfaction in me.....

Met up with JY Kim and CH Yum in the office.... nice nice people... (^.^)

Then after work, headed to my 2nd hide out which was at Lotte World Hotel.

Had cold noodles, traditional korean pancake and soup dumpling....

Oh.... I sure love the pancake and the soup dumpling the best.... keke.... if only I can have them again.... and the kimchi-s... cannot be missed out!! It's definitely the authentic 'real' kimchi... they just taste so refreshing. ~*Yum*~

As for the cold noodles... it's good too but I guess I still prefer my food served piping hot... heehee....

DS then brought me to the supermarket and oh yeah.... there's sure loads of stuff and yummy snacks. And we sure got a lot of things.... things which are for Grace (SG colleague) & Jacqueline sister (Ex-colleague whom I loved the most ^.^v)

So... let's see...

Yes.... loads of seaweeds for Grace and Jac.... &

loads of Skinfood products which are for me, Joleen and Wanting....

Too much things.... !! I had no choice but to courier them back to Singapore office and to Wan Ting herself. Oh well....

~~Day 3~~ (28th May 08)

This day is all by myself for the whole of the afternoon till I check out at 11pm. Run all the errands, washed up and packed my luggage bag. Then it's time to head to LOTTE WORLD themepark to have fun!

Ok.... seriously I did had fun but not enough fun as I was enjoying them alone. But oh well... who cares!! I just had to go for the rides. Too much pictures but anyway here are just some of them.

After having fun at Lotte World... I was practically concussed at Lotte World Hotel lobby... Heehee... :p I was so tired after walking the whole afternoon.

Dear DS met me after her work to bring me to my next hotel stay.... this is the most memorable event. Haha....

We took a shutter bus from Lotte World hotel to Lotte Plaza hotel which Rex Hotel was supposedly near there... With all my laptop, and HUGH luggage... we walked and we walked... and keep pulling my luggage bag over bumpy floorings... -_-'''

We were unsure where the hotel was located at first.... thinking it was supposed to be only a 5 mins walk. But no.... we walked for almost 20 mins.... to then finally found the hotel location... BUT... the worse thing is, having to reach the hotel, we had 2 choices....

1. Either to run across the streets which was filled with cars or
2. Carry the HUGH luggage down 3 flights of stairs through the underpass to get over to the other side of the road -_-'''''

I guess for safety wise... we had to take choice 2...

So... we counted 1..2..3.. and held the luggage bag together and ran down as fast as we could.
Sure we did a great job... hahaha... but ended up really tired after that...

DS's hubby invited us to his hotel workplace for buffet dinner... but I didn't have the appetite as my tummy was feeling sick... guess it's due to my improper meal for the day as I didn't really had lunch at Lotte World.

~~Day 4~~ (29th May 2008)

Seoul Rex Hotel... yeap... this was the hotel I stayed in for the next 3 nights.

This day was mainly 'alone' but I actually planned a full day tour the night before.
The tour was great!!
Passed by the president's house (Blue house).
Visited 2 different palaces.
Visited the National Folklore museum.
Visited Isadong streets.
Visited the temple, Namdaemun Market, ginseng center.

Got to know a chinese guy from Sydney and another guy from Italy during the tour who was also alone ... and helped each other to take pictures.

This was the first palace to be built in Korea but a lot had been destroyed and most of them are replaced buildings.

My tour guide for the day... she is a great tour guide... very interesting and she is one who will tell you not to buy anything like ginseng or crystal as they are very expensive.

The fire place area which is meant for winter rooms which provides floor heating system to keep the floor warm.

Then this is the chimney... smoke released outside unlike those house which have their fireplace inside the house.

White lanterns are for the deads... and the colourful lanterns are for celebrations.

Ginseng Chicken for lunch.... it's not that fantastic.... just by trying once is good enough...

The kimchi was the best during the meal... but it's a sad thing that the ang-mohs don't know how to eat them....

Deoksugung Palace (2nd palace of the day)

This is the main historical palace where most of what I see there are preserved till now... only a few buildings were destroyed and re-constructed.

This metal containers are meant to collect water and in case of fire, they are used to put the fire out... Hmmm.... but with the amount of storage... I doubt it will be enough...

The corn is something Singaporean might not get used to the taste and texture... Kekeke...
Corns in Singapore are crunchy, whether it's sweet, it depends....
But corns in Korea... it's totally different. They are sticky and chewy.... Not my kind of texture... keke... but the sausages were great!

Street food is good.... but it also makes me full very fast.

Last stop... a short explore at Namdaemun Market.

So.... they day of the tour ended there....
Went back to my hotel to rest while waiting for DS to meet me for dinner....

Felt kinda embarrassed that she had to keep me accompany most of the time... so nice of her...
Street food for dinner... but it was not bad... and best of all... there is my favourite Krispy Kreme donut... woohoo....

Yippee!!! The actual day of shopping lead by DS again... keke...

This day, I really have to thank her and her friend!! Without her, I guess I would not have been able to get brooches and rings and rubber bands with crystals at wholesale prices at Namdaemun market. Keke.... and best of all, they are all HAND-MADE!!!

Next, we took a subway and headed to Dongdaemun... And I managed to get a pair of jeans and 3 tops there. But it's a very sad thing that I am not able to get any shoes there as my feet are just too long.. hmmmm.. *pout*

Heya!!

It's been a long time I am typing down the recent events.

Oh well... not much actually... haha... Just that I had been rather busy for this month of May... why??

Coz... I am not in office most of the time...

Was rushing out all the work on the first week of May before I started my personal study leave, which lasted for a week before I got back to work again...

Ahaa!! My exams are finally over.... Don't want to talk about it much since it's over. I shall just wait and see how are my results... Not expecting much from my first paper which was on the 13th May... Just hoping that I can scrape through. Haa.... but after this paper, a little play and fun wun hurt much... keke...

It was the celebration Moto-v Lawrence's birthday!! Since I drove... I went down to West Coast McDonald's after my paper. But I sat there like a ding dong waiting for time to pass when Meow walked in and also started falling asleep after our dinner while waiting for them who reached at bout 9pm?? Hmmm...

But the drive home was great! Driving on a long stretch of super clear expressway, there's only one word to describe it... "SHIOK!!!"

Hmmm.... how about the 2nd paper?? Oh well... at least it's manageable.
Oh well... nvm all those for now....

Now now... back at work on the 20th which was actually after paper which finished at 4.30pm. Drove from school to my work place at Ubi.... and bloody traffic was killing me all the way. Super duper jam... But I think I am starting to love driving more on my family Nissan Latio car.

Attended a biker's wedding dinner yesterday... and this would be the 3rd wedding I attending for the past 2 months.... keke... Rushed like hell for the whole of yesterday, dealing with the renewal of MJ's employment pass.... It's crap I tell you... It's wasting time waiting for hours esp. when I have like loads of work to complete.

Ok... today is the 22nd and I am left with like 2 days to complete all my work before I....

embark on my trip to Seoul for a week!! Woohooo!!
Simply can't wait... but the sad thing is it will be somehow a little lonely excepts on the days that I will need to go into the Korea office for stock-taking and evaluation on the procedures. Hmmm...

But oh well.... I hope to get some cheap stuff there.... firstly would be the skin cares.

Took time off yesterday and headed down to Bishan 'No.1 Beauty Salon' to get my eyebrow embroidery done up. It's finally after such a long time later I decided to touch up my eyebrow.

Done it 3 years back and the ends of it, most of it had been faded away already. But I decided not go back to the place I previously went. It's darn freaking expensive man!!

Having the HR to be shifted into Malaysia might be a good thing for me.

Now I get to hold and use the taxi-card. And best of all, I get to slack away from office by having the need to run errands at times.

Today, I had to get the brouchers to my colleague at Suntec convention for the RFID exhibition.
Get to understand more on RFID chips as well... Lunch treat at Food republic from my sales director. The chicken rice set was not bad I would say but it's damn expensive!! $6.50 a set man!! Lucky not I pay... hahaha...

Then is more time slacking.... had myself headed to IORA to get my suit (jacket and skirt).
Then I got more stuff in the end. 2 more semi-casual tops (black sleeveless buttom blouse and a victorian sleeve white top) and one 3/4 grey trousers for a change.
Signed by credit card again.... ooopss... haha....

This time I am really making full use of my subsidiary credit cards... hoho... :p
But... I am getting things that are essential ok... haha... so it's different. Lol...

Ok... I took way too long trying out clothes that I had to hasten my footsteps to get to the supermarket to get some office supplies. Hoho... (this was my actual duty... and not shopping... haha)
But who cares!!! I'm in-charged now!!! Hahaha....

Oh... Tomorrow would be dinner at Sakura (safra) to pre-celebrate ZhiGang's birthday together with SQ and HL... at least it's so damn near my house... finish liao can walk straight home... hoho....

Oh... this weekend all the bikers will not be in town... they are setting their way up to koh samui tomorrow... so good!!! I also wanna go man!!!

Lady luck was somehow was with me on that day.

I never had the habit of buying 4-Ds... I can actually count the number of times I bought lottery the previous times. Practically less than 10 times I would say...

On thurday evening, while waiting for Meow at Serangoon interchange after work, my itchy fingers decided to scratch something out of the 4D paper.

And for the first time, I won something. Not much, but better than nothing as it was only a consolation prize. It's a good start that my upcoming new home unit no. opened on Sat night.

Argh!!! Singapore is such a tiny 'pea'!!!

Can someone inject some fun and adventure in Singapore that is not so expensive... OMG...
All entertainment activities are increasing their prices.

Cathay cinemas have their movie tickets at $10.50 .... not too sure of the price but it over 10bucks!!

Golden village.... damn them!!! They have raised the tickets to $8.50 on weekdays and up to $10 for weekends and now there is no further discount for HSBC Credit cards and even safra card members can only use them on Friday after 5pm. WTF!!!

Everything is getting just way too expensive la!!!

A little life update on the recent events!!

Long weekends are always great!! But when it comes to Sunday night.... the 'don't wish to go office' mood is switched on once again without fail.

Good Friday was a day I would say that it was quite well spent.
Steamboat dinner organized at Meow's home.
Thanks to Ah Siao and Ash for their help. Or else I guess I would be dead tired with all the preparations. Lol...

Woke up 'late', about 930am and had to rush to do marketing at the Serangoon interchange area. With Siao and Ash waiting for us there as well.

Bought loads of stuff...

One whole big plastic bag of vegetables and mushrooms and tofu worth only $15.
One whole chicken for boiling of stock and chicken thigh for only $6.70.
One pack of pork slices for $2.
Loads of fishballs, quail eggs and other yong tou foo items for only $16.70.

Then we headed home and start cleaning up the chicken, marinating the meat and cutting up all the veggies. And starting boiling the steamboat stock base with the whole chicken with garlic-s and ikan bilis. *Slurp*

Then we head headed to Compass Point for our lunch at Sakae Sushi and next, Cold Storage.
Got more food.
Shabu Shabu pork slices, Sukiyaki beef slices and fishy fishy... lol...
Corns and bottled drinks AND!!
Not forgetting, 'Ben & Jerry' ICE-CREAM!!
Eveything added up to more than $80 buck man!!! *Faintz~!*

Back home again.... transferred the 1st round of stock to another pot and added the rest of the carrots, tomatos and white cabbage stems and bring it to simmer again. *Wootz* Sweetness~~!!

Next was awaiting for the arrival of the 'red-legged' prawns which my biker friend promised.... Waited till like 6+pm till I was almost so disappointed... But he finally made it!!!

All the appliances and furniture needed in future would be more than $15k... Ahhh!!!

I guess it's really time.... it's time for me to move my cheese... move to a greener pasture.

I guess by continuing to stay here will only make my boss think that I am of no value.

Had a long chat with my ex-colleague on msn. For my current company, to think of it, I do have loads of flexible timing to leave earlier for school or even to come in at 9am and either leave on the dot or slightly earlier. Which I don't really care. I also have quite a lot of annual leave and Medical leave... hmmm... that's really the '+' factor. Can surf net, chat on MSN, write blog, do homework... *go where to find this kind of job wor...* lol....

I am just way too much in my comfort zone that I am partially unwilling to leave.

But if I don't leave now, how would the market be in 2 yrs time? No one will really know about it.

Now the only way to increase my take home pay is to have a job hop as that's the only way to have a pay jump.

But the thing is.... AM I REALLY READY AND WILLING TO MOVE ON????

OR??

Should I wait till I am about to complete my studies then do the switch but that will be 1.5yrs later....

How about my dream... can I really fulfill it??

That was the date we made ourselves as one of the unit owners of Compassvale Beacon at Seng Kang.

It was a rather last minute and hasty decision. But at least I still did my homework with all the various observations with relevant facts. Knowing where which directions as to where should the windows be facing.

1 month later upon submitting our balloting money to the HDB, we were given a very good queue number of 24. Due to the fact that Meow's parents are now the occupaniant of his brother's Seng Kang's unit which is very near to to our future upcoming house which is just opposite Rivervale Plaza.

We actually wanted to forgo this project as my mum's friend who is a housing agent commented that the area is not a good choice as it is congested. But just 1 day before the appointment date, and that is when Meow told me about it, we made a last minute decision to go down to the actual plot of land to take a look and explore the surrounding area.

To my surprise, it was not as bad as it was told. All the necessary amenities needed are all there. Serveral clinics, dental clinic, childcare centre, tuition centre, bread shop, 2 foodcourts, NTUC, wet market.... etc.... and also the ESSO petrol station just outside.

What's there to grumble about when there are all the amenities available.

We were acturally contemplating whether if we should take up a unit in Seng Kang or wait for a unit in Punggol... Seng Kang with all the necessary amenities or Punggol which will be of higher value in future.

We then decided to head down to Toa Payoh HDB hub to sign our housing forms... and to notice that we did not prepare a lot of things. Lol... considering that it was so last-minute. But it was not that bad after all.... Now I have my $2000 cash with them to 'look-after' till we make our 1st down-pymt through CPF.

Zhi Wei proposed to Winnie on the same day as well but it was in a 'LIFT' ... lol...

But oh well... happy for them... (^o^)...

Having to think back.... It's really amazing how we walk through our life all these years. Ups and Downs there will be...

The day has finally arrived when it was time when Meow's mum and sister had to board the plane off to Wellington. 12 hours plus of flight with a transit from Brisban. Joanh sis had some problems with her passport getting approved since she had her passport lost in 2005. But anyway, they have really their destination safe and sound.

Now the house is really empty.... Now I am more at ease walking around the house doing the washing I wanna wash. Lol... oops :x
But now, really have to crack our heads on what we shall have for dinner from now on. Should start learning how to cook abit... lol...

The interesting thing is what Meow told me at the airport carpark after sending them off. Haaa!!!

Humpf!! All the units that we are looking at have been taken up totally.... But anyway, I have already decided to forgo that area.

But we also just received our queue number for Damai Grove.... a little disappointed as it was queue no. 734...
Sigh!!! Another 700+ queue no. Hmmm.... but at least the number of units available is 676.
Shall see how it goes by then....
I am kinda hoping one of the units there.

Or maybe consider a resale flat about a fews years later when the property prices is low. Hmmmm....

This month is a total budget crash.... trying to find ways and means to a get a "New Face".... Apparently, my dark eye circles are my main concern. It all started out with all the late nights when I was only in Primary school....

My mum is crazy... She simply gave me a hard time when young, giving me tons of homework to do and not allowing me to sleep when I haven finished them....

I have been investing in different beauty salons. But not it's like my face is damn bad but I just wanna try perfect it a little better. Hmmm.... I shall not comment much on them....
I am still on CosLAB course treatment.....

Trying out Natural Skin Clinic, next reporting date will be in another month's time. I hope this really helps. Their products are known to be 100% herbal organic. And even the steamer for the face was filled with different kinds of real herbs, not just some essence oil. *I have seen it for myself*

But in actual fact.... The first set of N82 he got from M1 was for himself at 398 bucks after all the trade-in and voucher claim... but I happily just took it and use, just giving him a long grin on my face... haha...

Then... a few days later we got another set of N82 from starhub and trading in my E65 for SGD300... Paying only a balance of 198bucks... but I paid for this cheaper set... heehee... *grinz*
So much cheaper than M1.

Happy Chinese New Year!!

Well, it's the year of the RAT.... which makes me and my dad one of the Rats to celebrate...

But CNY had been pretty much the same... rather, it's getting more and more boring each year. It's not as rowdy as compared to the times when I was in Primary and Secondary school.

Ang Bao is a little bit more than this year due to the extra winnings while playing BlackJack on Sat with Meow's secondary classmates and Sunday with my relatives.

Saturday - 30 bucks

Total winnings : 80 BUCKS...
Hee... it's not that much but it's not bad already.

Chinese New Year Eve (Wednesday) was definitely a standard routine by having dinner at home...
Followed by a good movie of 'Kungfu Dunk' with Ah Siao they all at Vivo City.
Jay Chou was rather cute in the show and
plus... plus... the other 2 characters in the movie, 'Xiao Lan' and the basketball captain...
Woooo... they was so CUTE with style and character!!! Droolz man!!!

CNY Day 1 (Thursday)
Visiting... visiting... visiting...
Just pretty much the standard usual routine.
And as usual, Meow was in JB doing his own visiting.
Too early to be home, thankfully Eric gave me a call... and I hitched a ride on his car to meet his gal and the rest of the Moto-v peeps for a movie which I actually watch 'Kungfu Dunk' again since all of them wanted to watch that show... and I can't be the odd one out...
Next was followed with a aftermath session... 'Supper' at Kallang Mcdonald's till almost 4am in the morning.

CNY Day 2 (Friday)
Pop over to Meow's place to pai nien.
Then next was to Kenneth's place....
Dinner over at my place...
Then... lastly meet up with Kenneth, ZW, Winnie & ZL for coffee at Serangoon Garden's Coffee Bean.

Ordered 'Berry Treasure' for myself... and it tastes disgusting...
Lucky, the staff was more than willing to change another drink for me. Hee.... *grinz*

CNY Day 3 (Saturday)
Went to Da Peng's place at Hougang to pai nien... his house... woooo.... beautiful man!!!
Renovation costing almost 50 grand.

Played Ban Luck for about an hour.... but I won 30 bucks... woohoo...

Was asked to go back home to do some visiting... when I reached home... end up....
Events were cancelled and I was not even informed.
Dammit!!!

CNY Day 4 (Sunday)
Was supposed to go over to Huilin's place... but... haiz.... didn't managed to again.

Rushed home by 3pm as was told to... but end up leaving the house at 4pm plus. Went to Aunty Ma's place... but as usual... the emphasis was on my brother as usual...

Seriously... I really CAN'T STAND my brother's gf to the MAX. The sight of her just pisses me off... So usual air-head fellar.

Hmmm... it's already coming to the end of Jan 2008 yet I am just plain lazy to update my bloggy... Too lazy to update on the pictures I have taken so far....

Rather I have been busy entertaining myself with all the Taiwan dramas on Tudou.com be it at home or at work... Heehee...

Nothing much special really did happened. But I do have some wish items to get in this year.

I have gotten my new clothes and it's just in time for the upcoming CNY. I supposedly swear that I would not be getting any stuff from Victoria Secrets but when Meow's colleague asked if I wanted to chip in.

Me and my itchy hands... I ended up getting stuff costing over 300 bucks.... *holy crap*

But this time round, I am very satisfied with the items received. They size fits me well. And I am in love with the sweater I got which looked like a trend-coat.

Next item on my wish list would be a brand new Nintendo DS Lite!! Hee...
I am totally hooked playing games. Missed my childhood days... lol...

Trips....
Just an upcoming Batam trip with the Moto-v peeps... Need a good treat to body massage or even pedicure.

Thai Songkran Trip... guess I might give it a miss this year.... It's not like I have never gone for that festival which was last year.
Guess we would rather save up the money on other better stuff or trips... like Hong Kong... heehee...

Time is passing by really fast.... and I am gonna start school in the 2nd week of February. I don't mind the going school part... but I hate it when it comes to exams and projects. *Sigh....*

Still there are some things on my mind which will not be easily forgotten. Some thing that made me kinda disappointed even up till now as it would suddenly flash through my mind for no reason. And I can't help it. Gals will still be gals somehow. But somehow, the only way to make me at peace is hoping that someday he would simply not contact *the person* in any form. But I think that seems pretty impossible. Wonder if it ever occurs and notice that when anything happens when it is not my fault, he will just end up saying the same line, " If that really happens... then there is no point been together... " But I know he didn't notice it at all before.

Utterly Disappointed!!!

Bloody B****!!!

Christmas eve was a totally disappointment and I didn't get to enjoy the spirit of the Christmas season. That someone should know why.

I was been doubted and ASSUMED on things which I DID NOT DO AT ALL!!! But I would say even the mum was on my stand. Snap of her bloody pics and THREW them away and even mentioned that what's the point of keeping them when it should no longer exists and would ultimately cause arguement for no reason.

It really gives me a feeling that there was still protection over her, over her stuff at the point of time. I was totally pissed. It gives me the feeling that there is no love?? I am overwhelmed with saddness. I wonder if I can actually forgive this happening, but I know that I WILL NOT forget this day.

Why be afraid that I am looking thru yr stuff if you did not do anything wrong. You jolly well know that I hate you associating with her. But I have been very kind if you still didn't noticed and a bit too late to notice them now as my heart has been totally shattered with disappointment. I do not know how I can forgive you on this.

No mood to do anything.... and slept through the whole of Christmas day.

Back at work on Christmas Eve... at least it isn't that bad since it's only a half day work and I am sort slacking throughout...

Back from Melaka town... not to mentioned that we actually hor-laned... -_-'''' but the overall trip was not bad. This time is driving up together with Roger and family, sharing the total petrol and toll fee. Heehee... this helps to save half of our cost. It was kind of a mistake to drive up as it was jamming everywhere... and to start of with a heavy jam at the Tuas 2nd link. But definitely it's not tiring for me since I am just lazing in the car with the bright sunlight shining into my eyes, causing me to barely open them and ended up snoozing away... haha...

Melaka town... it's just a short getaway, eating non-stop.... and nothing else we could do. 3rd time in Melaka with the Moto-v bikers since I was with this group of friendly peeps for 2 years soon. Ever jovial and adventurous.

This round me and Meow brought a lot of local goodies back... (the same old stuffs actually) since we are up by car. Heehee...

No pics again... lazing to load them up to Photobucket and to this blog... so I shall leave it as it is. Heehee...

Melaka seems to be our small yearly getaway. Last year was New Year getaway and this time is Pre-Christmas getaway....

Today... it's Christmas Eve... not really expecting much of it as I don't normally celebrate them. Meeting up with the bikers for a movie of 'I am Legend' and will be bringing Aggy and Paul together... heehee... (Love hanging out and gossiping with her)

Haaa... Only managed to log in to my UniSIM student portal to check my results. Last Friday, I can practically NOT log in at all... Screw it... cos tons of people are anxious to check on their results.

Well... my results are not something very glam... WHY???

Cos... I failed 2 of my taken Finance modules... haha... but I am laughing... cos I am expecting that to happen. Finance is really not my cup of coffee.
And I'm laughing because I am already planning to switch my Finance degree to BSc Marketing. I think I can do better for it.
But I managed to score 2 Bs for my 2 Marketing Modules and a B+ for my Effective Comm. Heehee...
I am glad with my results after all. Oh well.... let it flow naturally... heeee....

One more working day in office today and its the WEEKEND finally again. Time passes really fast!
In another 1 weeks time it would mark the end of 2007.

Had an early day off from work and Wednesday due to carpet cleaning. Headed home to pack my wardrobe and prepared to wait for Tweety to come fetch me to an outing at Kallang leisurepark.
Heehee... it's been quite awhile since I sat on a street bike. She rode her Frazer1000... woohoo... love that bike. I seriously salute her riding spirit. Not bad an experience having to be her pillion and we managed to share a same seat. This helps her to balance better and to help her gain better confidence in pillioning people. Lol...

Had a great time at Kallang...

Ice-skating... woohoo... it's been really a long time since I last ice-skate... (8 years?) Haaa...
Kwan seriously was a great skater. He assist me in skating one round and I managed to do great all the way. Heee.... Fun!!
Shall have them organize another skating event next Saturday. While some of those can go for bowling instead.

Had fun all the way! It's really the company that counts the most! Love hanging out with them...

Tml will be heading to Melaka for a 2D1N short trip by car...

It's the end of another week again and I can't wait to get out of the office by the end of the day.
I am still struggling to breathe in this office.... having to face irritating people everyday. To think of it, we spent most of our time in office facing our colleagues and bosses rather than been at home. I just can't wait to get out of this office. I'm simply not suited to be desk-bounded.

I'm still trying my best in the particular thing I wanna do but I wonder when would it be the right time for me. I guess I will still have to wait. Probably, I'm only fated to get in only after when I graduate with a Degree.

At the moment, I am pretty very much happy with the blog I'm having now. Too lazy to do any much more exploration like changing new blog-skin or even inputing music onto it. I guess I rather not bother unless if someone volunteer to help me up with it considering I'm very much of computer idiot. LOL...

I rather just take this blog as a way to vent my frustration, pour out my sadness and even share my happiness. It's just an open diary where everyone can view. But who cares.....

But the best thing of all... My boss is on her super long vacation (3 weeks). Shiok!!!
I have started slacking since yesterday. Me and HR headed to Parkway parade for a little short shopping spree.

Got a pair of casual shoes from Isetan and it's very comfy. I actually got it in white. Never in my life will I get anything white.... hmmmm....

And a Braun Buffel key-pouch cum wallet holder on the company's expense since it was supposed to be a Christmas gift. How pathetic... oh well... at least better than nothing at all.
I am starting to love the 'cow'... and finally I owned one myself.

Got some organic NZ Manuka honey and organic slow-baked Scottish butter shortbread rounds from Marks and Spencer. Really good stuff there.... heehee... (These 2 items already cost me $42.90) - Haaa... see blogging behind?? LOL....

Punggol Lodge

The time has came. We finally ballot on our first BTO project.

2 new BTO projects were up, but both were of different ends.

1. Punggol Lodge
2. Telok Blangah Towers

Telok Blangah Towers are apartments to die for. It was simply like a condominium. It was not like the usual projects as this is 'Design to Build'. Prices ranging from $308k onwards. Prices are way higher as for these flats, there is no need to worry about the renovation as it will be done up nicely and you can move in straight away. Today is the first day of application and there are almost 200+ people applying for it

For the normal BTO projects, within the 4 yrs of waiting, we have to save up money which has to be spent on renovation and furniture in time to come.

Oh well... Punggol Lodge is was me and my cat applied for already. Will wait for the result to be out in Dec 2007. Really hope that we can get this apartment. I really like the design layout and the structure and we both have already decided and wished on the dream unit of a particular block.

I thought I just had to blog these.... on what happened today....

Ok... yesterday first... I almost wanted to smash the skull out of my colleague!! She is simply getting on my nerves and same goes for today as well... All she knows is how to complain about tons of things... 3/4 of the office calls from her desk phone were personal calls!!! I wonder if my boss really knows what's going on!!! She is totally S**T!!!

Oh... 2 'interesting' events happened... and if you notices the inverted commas...

1. Was running to catch the train to head to school today when a guy who boarded the same bus suddenly approached me....

Him: Hi, are you Carin PANG?!
Me: *blur and shocked* Yeah........

I was like how the hell do you know my name and my SURNAME as well...
Just so happened that he was some guy from friendster who added me a freaking long time ago and we never talked before. Vince was his name and so happened that I still do have a vague idea of who is he. Just that he simply look different in real and in picture.
What a small world... 'Yeah right?!'

2. Had a stopover at MacPherson bus-stop to have a switch of bus when suddenly there's this man who's about in his 40s - 50s talked me... I was like WTH!! I don't even know you....
But I was just been kind to have a nice short 10mins conversation. Observing his gestures... they were fine... then observing somemore... when I noticed that he had a bible clamped together with his upper arm against his body. Popped the question about whether if he had just finished his cell group.

Yeah... I'm a back-slider... I know...

Today is simply a WEIRD day!! Hmmm.....

Headed down to Ngee Ann City yesterday after work and hell did I spend alot of money.... But it's ok!! Hahaha.... since it's been almost 2 years that I have not spent on expensive make-up to pamper myself. I used to buy series of YSL make-up amounting to $300+ at one go but at the moment I just think that it's way over my budget. That's why I stick on to NUSkin and been faithful with the concealer for years ever since HW recommended me during secondary school days!! But to think that it has not been the right shade of colour for my skin but I was never able to find a better concealer till recently when I had been talking to HW, she recommended me to M.A.C this time.

And tada!!! I pampered myself with 90 bucks worth of concealers and brush.... Oh man is the concealer brush is sure damn expensive.... but oh well, it's worth the investment... keke...

Select Cover Up for my under eye.... for those who know, I look like panda... and I'm quite satisfied with the finishing touch. Worth $28

Select Moisture Cover - Initially I wanted to get the concealer in pot form but I turn out like its too thick... or maybe different mirror gives different effect... but at the moment, this which I'm using seems pretty ok... shall use on first. Worth $25

Not only the above 2 concealers that I got... I got the concealer brush... so... no more messing up with my fingers... Worth $37

Then, I decided to pamper myself more!!! I have always like the YSL make-up base. It really gives a good base touch before patting on the compact powder onto my face. It's really a complexion enhancer... :) Cost me 57 bucks man... but lucky my meow meow has $20 Takashimaya voucher... so it's $37... heehee...

Therefore, my total damage for yesterday is..... $127 *TATA*

Oh man... I'm so poor now... hmmm... haha...

Soon after I have gotten the things I wanted... it's dinner time!! Me and Meow were looking for a place where we can have dinner and as usual we ended up at Sakae Sushi at Heeren... and the best thing is that Sakae Sushi at Heeren is the only one that has SASHIMI BUFFET!! One time ever we both ate only red plates... heehee... Shall do that sometime later again...

Movie on Tuesday... hehe...
Day Watch is what we watched... after dinner we rushed down to Golden village as that's the only cinema that we can have discount using HSBC credit card. Show's in Russian language.... with subtitles of course. One interesting thing is that the subtitles will follow the action of the speech... It was like another show of Harry Potter... just that this is more on vampires and witches, filled with curse and spells. Oh well.... show is a little slow but the contents is actually not bad...

Then was heading back home and taking care of my face... lol....

Oh... can anyone recommend me a good eye cream or gel... best is that it is not oily... hate of the oily feeling...

Somehow I can't help it but feel that I am totally invisible in front of other people's eyes after passing through their life for quite sometime. It's like as through I was never around them at all.

Oh well...

Decisions or plans roughly thought but will never have me in the picture. I'm beginning to doubt myself if I am ever been taken into consideration. Will our actual plan still continue as decided about a month back or how long do we have to wait? What's the plan? What's the decision? I simply have no idea sometimes.

But what assurance do I get but just to only doubt on myself more.

It's been really a long time I've danced.... And I don't even know if I do miss dancing.... but I guess I just have to get myself hooked up to it once again.

Dancing shoes are still waiting for us to return to the dance floor... but when will the time be?
His has barely been worn and it's still sleeking new.
What can be done to turn back time and my guy would not have been injured.

As for now, I am struggling with my Finance modules and there is practically no one in school who can really help us. But I actually have a great friend, Benjamin!!

Though I do not really know him every since we got to know each other from friendster like almost 2 - 3 yrs till now. The last time we talked, he was mentioning to me about his relationship problem back then but I am glad he is happily attached now.
How we got to know each other was that he was studying finance degree in Aussie and I was about to start my finance degree... haha...
This time, I got help for my finance project through him though he is studying in Australia now. All he could do was to guide me through MSN. Great guy indeed!!! And I know name him as my big brother and a tutor to me for Finance!!! He never rejected helping me... as normally the case people will try to 'siam'.

YOU TELL ME LA... WHERE CAN YOU FIND A GREAT FIN TUTOR WHO SOMEMORE IS IN AUSTRALIA... MUAHAHHAHA

Weight has to be lost and I'm trying very hard but at certain days I fail on my food intake. Lunch was plain porridge with bitter gourd almost every office working days, which is good.
Skin has been taken care of recently but I have to be more hardworking to put my creams, masque and eye gel.

20th will be another try of the SQ interview but I wonder which rounds will I get through to. *Wish me luck*

I wanna take up German lessons!!! Who wants to as well???

Humpf!!! I haven been thinking and checking out of the language course but I haven not even started at all. Partly its because I am not willing to part my $300+ bucks to the language school.
But I wanna start!!! It will be good for me and it will be an advantage since I wanna join SQ.
And since meow is going to start his FREE German lessons provided by his company. We use each other to practice our German?? Hahaha...

So tired***!!!!

Been crazing over taiwan shows recently and have been totally hooked to youtube for quite some time already causing me to have bad dark eye circles due to the fact that I could actually watch up to 5am in the morning... omg...

As for last night... it was some chit chat session with my secondary school friend. It has always been, once we start talking, we never know when to end the conversation. We just simply have to much to talk about and partly it's because we are aiming for the same goals.

Oh well... hope we make it then....

Not much things happening recently.

Been to HDB hub to check out the new BTO project (Coral Spring) as we are planning to ballot for a house. The structure of the house is pretty weird. Oh well, we decided to forgo applying for this and wait for better ones in Punggol area I guess. Love the houses there as they all simply looking like condo apartments with full length glass panels, with basement carparks.

Then, it was attending a super formal wedding dinner. It was my cousin's wedding and it is a wedding that any girl would dream to have. It's just like a fairytale.... Food was fantastic and service was great! And then yeah... we are dressed damn formally. Me in a red tube gown and Meow in full suit. Hmmm....

Oh well... guess thats about all on what's happening recently.

What the *FISH*!!!!

I have recently received ridiculous phone calls on my mobile saying that they are calling from either Hong Kong or Malaysia doing some stupid survey... The 'nice' me as usual do not know how to reject the phone, I just continued entertaining them....

Bloody hell.. saw the bill today and I saw an additional amount of auto-roaming charges of up to $15!!! I wonder where the hell did they even get my mobile no. *FISH!!!!*

Next, I have finally decided to remove FRING from my hp as it has been auto-connecting through starhub wap services for nothing!!! That cost another additional 14 bucks when I didnt even switch it on....!!!!
WTH!!!!

My hp firstly does not have compatible software and even if there is, it turns hay-wire!!! WTF!!! Angry man!!!

When my bill normally only comes up to a maximum of $40+, this time round is increased up to $71!!!! Like additional $20 plus for nothing!!!

Haaa... Just some random post which was actually in my saved draft for weeks.... and a little update on my interview yesterday... so here it is...

A little update on what I did over the last last last weekends....

Met up with the usual peeps of bikers on Friday (31st Aug) for supper. Was supposed to settle down at Thomson prata place but that place is forever super crowded but I all I wanted was the fried chicken there. *Slurp*
Oh well, managed to packet 3 pieces and went over to the usual 'blue' prata shop just behind Meow's house.
And I guess next time I will have prata bom... it tastes really good. With the sugar and butter in it, tastes just like some cookie. Yum~!

Hmmm.... Sat (1st Sept) .... Haa... I had the car all to myself...
Cat went to BBDC with the rest of the bikers in the early morning.
Me!!! I was woken up by him and could not get back to sleep....
But anyway, I had to prepared to meet my projects mates to finalize our work and adverts.

Hmmm.... having the car all to myself may not necessary be a good thing as I horlan-ed going to school from East Coast Park but that isn't that bad...
The worse was going back to Cat's house. I literally horlan-ed for almost half an hour. I practically circled the whole of Ang Mo Kio. Hahaha...
But HEY!!! I managed to get back with the need to call anyone.... keke....

Sunday (2nd Sept) .... we headed to Suntec in early afternoon. It was the last day of the COMEX show. Traffic was really bad and we met a nasty inconsiderate driver who does not allow you to cut into his lane. He will not let you through and he will honk you down. WTF!! But he expects people to give way to him. What LOGIC!!!

Anyway, we parked at Bugis and walked to Suntec instead. No pointing rounding over at Suntec car-park as it will be totally full.

We practically walked a lot on that day.
Me and Meow were decided on whether to get the student HP laptop deal which costs only $1499 net!!! IT WAS A GREAT DEAL with GOOD SPECS. But... hai.... we decided to give it a miss as I still have my Dell laptop. Hopefully there will be a better deal coming up in the next IT show.
Helped my dad to get a micro SD card and a SATA 320 Gb Internal HDD and also one for Meow...

Oh well, walked out and headed to Marina Sq and I popped into a shoe shop with Winnie as there was discounts going on. Decided on 2 pairs but Meow told me to take 4 PAIRS and meow bought them for me! This is the first time I bought so much shoes at one go.

Dinner at Sakae Sushi and then back home.... So tired.... after a day full of walking. Guess what!! Our total parking fee for the day was $11.30. Freaking expensive!!! Ok... no more driving to town.... Bike is good since Meow got his Silverwing 600. It has freaking spacious compartment.

The weekends are so short.... sigh....

Now... about the SQ interview I had yesterday. I was not affected by it since I was just trying for the fun or it.
First time trying out the interview but just feeling pretty normal. My leave taken yesterday was pretty much of a waste when all we did was just to self-intro and that is it!! We all feel that they have reach the max quota intake. Practically all the 4 - 5 groups before us, literally ALL left walking out of the SIA Training centre.

Oh well, nvm... haa... I guess I will try again and at that point of time, I will do my back ups properly. I have done my discussion with my mum and she finally sort of agree with my decisions. As for my dad.... as usual he has nothing to comment on it probably because he feels that he is partly the cause since he was an ex-air-steward.
Oh well.... no one to blame about it... haha

But I will try again definitely ... JIA YOU!!

My SQ application was sent in last Friday via email....

And I was short-listed and an email was actually on Saturday!!! It was just so fast.... within one day I am actually been short-listed....

This time round, SQ had all applicants send in their forms via email rather than have to go queue up and wait to be interviewed at some hotel.

I am pretty afraid..... Some part of me tells me to go, but some part tells me to forget about it and concentrate on my studies. I am pretty much very sure that if my parents were to know, they will definitely object.

I have all my necessary documents prepared... now only awaiting for tml to come...

I wonder how would the interview be like.

Lecture was at Freaking BLK 50 over at Ngee Ann Poly... It was a long walk before I could reach the class.... Damn.... I was actually dragging my feet to school...

While on the way to my class, I saw my favorite stats tutor. He always remember me. keke... Cos I was 'sort of' one of his fav student... kekeke....
After a little chit-chat, an advise I got from him is that....................
STAY ON IN MY CURRENT CO. That's where I have all the time and space. Hmmmm....
Agreeable!! Alright I will try to tolerate and stay on and see how it goes. I hope my company will not be shifting too far from where I stay...

A bit on my project for marketing, I think my project mates seem pretty ok and we have finally got into contact with Adrian who went missing for the past 3 lectures. Hmmmm... We almost wanted to boot him out from our group thinking that he might be a slacker. But Yuling was kind enough to actually get his contact from our tutor and give him a courtesy call. If I'm the one, I couldn't care less... hahaha

Had a mini discussion between the three of us and were deciding on a topic and from observing the way he talked to us, I am convinced that somehow I guess he is not that bad after all... Shall see in the upcoming meet up.

I have like 2 group projects and 1 individual assignment which all have to be submitted by less then 2 weeks time.

I guess I better start on my effective comm assignment during work time when I am free... but freak... it's the end of the month...

IT MEANS THAT I HAVE TO STAND BESIDE THE PHOTOCOPYING MACHINE TO COAX IT!!! ARGH!!!

There are really reasons why I would rather stay out of house and probably maybe even stay alone. She can be really crazy.... nice at time and crazy most of the time.

Me and my brother are classified as a pure burden of the house. Then why in the first place have us step foot in this world.

I believe I am old enough to think for myself and what I want. I do not need another person to come rampage into my personal stuff and tell me of what to do. It's really irritating and things can't be discussed as per normal. We will always end up in an argument.

I really can't believe the words she put across to us. She keeps thinking that I am not serious about my r/s but what stand has she got to say this to me when she does not know what are my actual feelings. All she can think of is about what he can provide. Like hello... Thinking of what she did in the past, I shot back saying that I am not like her. All she can think of is everyone's bad points when she does not even know them well enough yet.

Trying to get my brother to apply a house. But how sure is she that they can last. With these, she shot me back with those words as well. WTF!!

How can she force us to do things that probably maybe it's not even the right time yet.

Hai... I really do not know what to say and I shall not say too much.

Then as for now, I am really considering if I should start throwing my resignation letter. Should I have a job switch? But there are a lot of questions on my mind.
Will the new job be tough then before? Will I be able to cope with my work and studies? Will there be kind people to assist me when I need help?

Marketing line is what I am looking at now but am I cut off for it since I have not done it before.

Trip to Ipoh and Cameron Aug 07

Ok... this is gonna be quite a bit of a long entry with loads of pictures so bear with me... heehee....

Totally excited on the 8th of Aug (Wed) that I actually couldn't wait to get out of the office at 530pm sharp.... hee... I actually left earlier.... but who cares....

It was the day where me and my cat set off from Beach road Golden Mile complex on the StarMart coach....

But the coach was quite a turn off as it was quite filthy. Meow Meow actually could sense roaches crawling around his seat... and indeed.... lol... he shone his torch in between our seats only to find an empty shell of Mentos sweet with small roaches nibbling on the sweet. GROSS!!!!

Hahaha..... meow meow could not stand the sight of it....
He could not stand the seat as well, as it made him totally uncomfortable and unable to sleep.

The journey itself was scary....
The indian bus driver ... damn him ... he drove like there is no tomorrow. The speed felt like 160 - 180km/h. So damn fast.... when turning into the small lane, I could feel like as though the bus is going to topple any minute.

The estimated arrival should actually be 5 - 6am... but we reached at 440am in the morning!!!
Even Sean was shocked with the fast arrival.

9th Aug 07 (Day 1)
Tell you!!! I was so freaking tired!!!

But how could we miss the breakfast....
Had Tim Sum and it was way better than the one I had 2 years back.... and which Sean initially wanted to bring us to.
Haha.... was too hungry to actually take pictures of the tim sum.

After breakfast, Sean took us for a little spin up the hill where you can see a lot of people brisk walking and exercising. The morning view was great!!

Sean fetched us to his house to rest first as he had to return to work for awhile which ended up working till 12pm...

I was happily exploring around the house as I could not fall asleep and guess what I have found....

IT'S 30 YEARS OLD and IT'S VEGETERIAN!!!

By 1230pm, Sean is finally done with his work and had came home to fetch us to his aunt's place where we will be staying for the next 2 nights and to wash up.

By then we were starving.... so we quickly wash up and headed out for lunch.

After lunch we headed down to Ipoh parade to do a little shopping but..... I DIDN'T MANAGED TO GET ANYTHING!!!!

But my darling managed and finally found his miniature Blackblack bike in BLACK...

By then, it was 5pm and I was really tired as I did not get any rest ever since we got off the coach.

But we were to have dinner with Sean's parents... this time it's our treat to them thanking them for the taking care of us when we had accident about half year ago.
Darling was smart enough to pretend buying stuff over at the counter but footing the bill at the same time.

Dinner was great and really CHEAP!!! Shark's fin soup for only 1RM but it taste good. Had stir-fried Sheng yu, Pig trotters, Calamari and Salted vege soup.
Food were great!!!
And Sean's father sure do know a lot of people.

Back to Sean's hse to rest for awhile and then we headed out to a clubbing scene which was so much better than Y2K which I went 3 years back. Haha.... but we saw a group of guys which made us turn off as they behaved so GAY!!

Ok.... by the 1am I was totally shut off.... left the club and headed home. Slept all the way through the car journey till we reach back to his aunt's place.

10th Aug 07 (Day 2)
Haha.... I totally KO-ed till the this morning... and we actually woke up really late.
Was supposed to be out of the house by 8am but we slept till 9am even until Sean reached... haha... that shows how tired we are.

Plan was actually to head to the waterfalls... but we failed to do so as it was too late...
Sean might just as well bring us to the Ipoh beach.
The view was great and the waves were strong.

So that's about all.... Ipoh has got nothing really much to explore.
By then it was almost 3pm and we headed to a nearby food place for lunch.

Just 3 dishes as me and Meow were still not very hungry. We had Curry stinkray and it's FANTASTIC!!!! The curry gravy was not too spicy and tasty!!!
Too bad I didn't managed to take pictures as my camera battery died on me.

Then we headed back to wash up and rest first.
By 630pm, Sean picked us up and we headed to JUSCO for movie 'RUSH HOUR 3'.

The show was fantastic and hilarious.... non-stop of laughter!!!
But as it is in Malaysia, I wonder if there are any parts of the show been censored off. Hmmmm...

Walked around abit after the show and we got ourselves a trouser each from G2000 as there was a 50% discount. Now, we only regretted not buy more of them in different shades of colours. LOL....

Aftermath was dinner we Sean's family again.... this time they were all waiting for us to arrive... oops... so paiseh to make them wait. They treated us to the local food...
Braised chicken feet and bean sprout chicken with the soup Kuay teow.... *Slurp*

Joyful and excited father.... lol....

Sean's family can really drink loads of beer... oh man...

This was not over... there was another 2nd round of dinner where Sean's father insisted to bring us. And... luckily we did not reject....
The food... oh man.... totally fabulous!!

Food time is finally over and it's time to head back to rest early as we have to leave by 730am. Up to CAMERON HIGHLANDS!!!

But on the way back, guess what I saw:

11th Aug 07 (Day 3)
Totally excited..... it's time to head up to Cameron Highlands....
The new route wasn't that bad as compared to the route when heading down Cameron.
-_-''' bought the walkie talkie but we actually forgotten to bring up with us.

On the way, a car that was actually just a few cars in front of us actually lost control and had the car landed in the drain. I wonder how did it happened when it was actually on a straight road. Oh well...
After confirming that no one was hurt, we continued with our journey up.

Before we reached Brinchang town, we reached a strawberry and Hydroponics farm... hmmm... the strawberries are not very much in sight but the hydroponics vegetables were fantastics... so green and look so crunchy!!

Oh well, we still managed to find the bikers and finally meet up with them...

After Kwan, Jumat and Denden headed down to Ipoh where Au stays, we continued with our tour around Cameron highlands.
Was expected to be greeted with a cold weather up in the high mountains.
Ended up, me and Meow had sunburn.... -_-'''

First we headed to BOH Tea (Best Of Highlands)

We got 4 different flavours of tea.

But was heart-throbbing when Sean drove his car up as the road was winding... the lane was just nice for one car to pass through.... omg.... my eyeballs almost rolled out with fear and breaking out cold sweat... OMG!!!! But lucky going down was not as bad as going up.

Next was to the Bee Farm,

Got 3 big tubs of fresh honey and one of them was for Sean's aunt in return of kindness.

Next was to another strawberry farm....
The strawberries.... omg!!! Shiok!!!

Next was to Cactus Valley and To another strawberry farm to buy our strawberry ice-packs.

All shapes and size of cactus and different kinds and colours of flowers... so pretty....

Last but not least... how can we forget to get our strawberry ice-packs after coming all the way up to Cameron.

My Cat can't wait to sink his teeth into the ice-packs... hahaha....
Guess how many sticks did we buy... lol....

Ice-packs hand-carried all the way back from Cameron to Ipoh.... *treasure*

Alright.... it's 330pm and it's time for us to leave for Ipoh...
Goodbye Cameron!!

Ok... this time Sean took the old route down.... SCARY!!!!! Going down the winding mountains non-stop for almost 1hr plus. My eye could not shut.... had to keep an eye on the road and that Sean does not get tired... omg...

Finally when we reached the bottom of the mountain, we headed back to Ipoh and to get some local goodies.

Went back to pack and changed to some fresh clothes after perspiring for the whole day.
Knowing that Sean will forget to bring a large paper bag for us, we managed to squeeze everything we had and brought into all our bags... lol....

Had dinner which was totally turn off...
My cat was given the wrong order and my order was not placed and that made my cat flare up and to confront the manager and got her to waive off the last order.

Then we headed to large open field where there held the 'Summer Live Concert'. Sean actually had to queue up for the tickets for almost 2 hours and we are not able to stay long as our bus back to SG was at 930pm... Such a pity and waste.

BACK!!!!

Back from Ipoh and Cameron.....
And it's back to reality again.... work, work and more work....

Time spent at Ipoh and Cameron were great.
We definitely had a great host.

Took loads of pics and I have yet to sort them out once I am free. Malaysia, a place that will bring you back to the past where you can see all the open space fields, hills, mountains, and shop houses.

You will always be remembered in the hearts of your love ones and the bikers!

You were are great caution rider. It's really uncalled for. It's really saddening... sigh...

I am worried for the riders... be it whether is it a minor or major accident.

To recall back, I actually had a vivid memory of me dreaming about a bike accident a few days back....
Riders out there, please ride safe!! Drivers drive with caution as well. Think about yourself... if you don't, think about other riders and road users!! They have a family themselves. Why cause unnecessary harm to yourself and others.

Once again I'm gonna say...
Life is really vunerable!!!
Treasure it, live to the fullest and treasure your love ones who try love you and treasure you so.

There are some things that I realized I really miss...

I miss the scenes over at Holland vee. 2 years ever since I last graduated from Ngee Ann poly.

I miss the hangout with darling Sulie over at Essential Brews... Oh man... their green tea apple crumbles the ones to die for.
It's really 'tart'... when you put it in your mouth, its just crumbles and melts away. Not too sweet and a touch of green tea which is just nice... not too overwhelming and topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Yum~~~!!!

I miss hanging out at Wala wala on Thurs and Sats as I love the band 'The Unexpected'!!
But I dun miss drinking as much as compared back then. Lol...

I miss some of my N.P.D.S peeps.... miss the day we had a cycling event. All the fun and laughter we had.
I miss dancing with Theo as he would the best dance partner I had at that time. Sad thing now... he is in NS and not sure when he will start dancing again...

After looking at some pictures, I suddenly realized I miss dancing Salsa with Nixon as my common social dance partner.

Finally it has come to the end of another work week!!!
It's the weekends... and I can't wait to get out of the office soon.

I have practically completed all my necessary work and I am bumping around and doing now.
So FREE!!! but it gets really boring and here I am blogging away and I will be watching shows on youtube to entertain myself for the rest of the day I suppose.

Feel like taking MC on Monday as I am so reluctant to come into office and I think I can afford that.

My poor meow meow has been slogging away in Indonesia for the past 3 days and here I am in SG meeting up with pals and spending money. OMG... I seriously spend a lot when he is not around and I shan't say how much is it. kekeke....

Once work ends I will head down for my facial and down to actors to meet up with the rest of the gang. I hope I just only have to spend on the cab fare back home thats all.

I got 2 birthday gifts for my meow meow and my brother. Both happen to have their birthday falling in August with just a day difference. Hmmmm....
That cost quite a bit already but it's ok. :)

As for now... what am I to do... *day-dream*

I can't wait to get out SG and go to Ipoh and Cameron. *chuckles*

Another wish plan I have is to hopefully go to Australia (Adelaide) for holidays since I have a friend going back there and there will be free accomodation for us. The moment I am to enter the 'not-so-grand' office of mine, sleepy spells sets into me. I have been a really naughty girl. Be it whether my boss is or is not around, I will end up either blogging crap stuff or I will be playing my all-time favorite game (Zuma). Hahaha....

Then we can head up to Cameron Highlands on 11th Aug morning...

According to Sean it's only a 45 mins drive up.

Haa... there we can meet up with the rest of the bikers who will be going up there.

Then according to him, Cameron has got nothing much, we can head back to Ipoh on that day itself.

Then take a bus back either

- 11th Aug night

- or 12th early morning.

It was a total crappy day at work today.... As usual, I wasn't even doing much work as the sleepy spell kept hitting on me. I just simply have no mood to work at all. Hahaha... might as well say that I totally have no interesting in doing my usual routine mundane work. Especially at this period of the month, it's checking of all the expense reports that makes it totally sick.

My mind is dazing elsewhere and I just simply do not want to get myself back to reality.
(Though I have to ultimately -_-''') It's really sad to see how Singaporeans have to slog their life away just to have that stable rice bowl unbroken. It's even sadder to see how some Singaporeans can be so irresponsible with their lives and try to live on others. Crappy I tell you!!!

Had an hour long of skype conference call with Agnes at wee hours and I simply enjoy chatting with her and catching up a bit with our lives and how Paul is so unhappy with his company though it was really late over my side when it's morning for her.
And that's when she got me interested in pursuing something probably after when I have gotten my degree certificate.

That is to try getting a Holiday work permit. And going to UK will be nice... Been able to experience the different culture. Who knows I might settle down there or even venture out to different countries to work. Wouldn't it be nice, Dar?? Have you thought of trying as well? Maybe we can do it together... hee... say 2 yrs later after you complete your studies.
We could get sponsor in accommodation from Aggy and Aggy's moo... haha... that's provided.... shhhhh..... I'm sure Aggy will be more than glad to guide us through the proper procedures for our first moves. Hee...

Decisions have been made. Thought a bit of the future plans. Then again, it's a matter of how to make things happen. I would simply need to get out of my comfort zone really soon but probably after my degree or when my company decides to announce their shift either to Malaysia or 6 Serangoon North. Alright... That will be decided later when it really happens. I would take a long break first before continue working again.

I am still very keen in picking up a language... say... either German or French. Aggy introduced me a language book which comes with a CD. Probably I could invest in that or either take up classes.
Oh well... I shall see how it goes.

As for now... I need a getaway to anywhere rather than staying in Singapore.
Plans were posted in the moto-v forum as to going to Cameron Highlands.
I have not never been there before, or rather I have not been to any neighboring countries much till I start bike trips with Darling.
All my experience are much more further and I miss Cape of Good Hope with such great scenery facing the open ocean and have the cold air blowing against your face. Shiok I tell you!!!

Alright... maybe me and Dar can plan going to Cameron Highlands!!! Strawberries!!! Wooohooo.... I seriously wanna try the strawberries there.

Time now is 4pm... here I am blogging away again on my office desktop.

How I wish that I can be a 'couchpotato' for just 1 - 2 months... that's all I'm asking for. Not much...
I am seriously weak. I have only worked for 2 years full time and with other part time jobs for several years. Now I just feel like resting for a long time and probably even go somewhere out of Singapore to relax.

I am bored sitting and 'drowning' myself in my office chair and have to face the silent blinding screen in front of me everyday doing the same things over and over again every month. This way, my life is really super mundane.

Now that I have decided to stay on in this company until they finally announce the next change, then I will start to make my decision again. I will just make use of this very good opportunity to complete my studies as far as possible since I have loads of free time like NOW.... -_-'''

And guess like I will knock off the idea of going for the SQ interview for now. I know there will be more interviews later for me to go try by then when I am much more relaxed in my studies.
Just 1 more year.... and let it stay that way.... let me pass all my modules smoothly and allow me to finish studying by end of 2008 and able to have my convocation by 2009. That would so nice.

It's the beginning of the month again. Time really passes so fast within a blink of an eye.... Time for month end closings and having to check all the incoming expense reports once again. How boring!!!!
Now I am left with completing my AR aging schedule and I'm done and awaiting for the final FS to be sent for me to update the last schedule.

I need a life!!! The only time I am looking forward to are weekends and public holidays.

Did nothing much over the weekends. It was not boring but it was freaking HUMID!!!
I was practically perspiring alot... -_-

Met up with some of my friends for dinner on Friday.
Headed down to Actors after that to meet Estee and Louisa... Haaa... Yes I was late!! Lol...

It's been awhile since I last went to Actors but it was no longer as crowded as before when Estee and me worked together. We sisters really rule the bar!!
Tip 2 of the girls there with $10 each.... I know the hard work!! You slog like hell but you dun get paid well at all. Customers are stingy with tips as well...

Saturday afternoon, we had to go over to Da sao's place to pick Baby Faith to bring home to let Dear's mum look after. She is just so CUTE!! She is so easy to look after. There are always laughters and beams on her. Never once have I heard her cried badly.

On that days' evening, we watched TRANSFORMERS!!! My mum and her colleagues have got free tickets given by their company shipping customer. My mum got 8 tickets... woohoo...
My whole family were there and got Winnie and Zhiwei to watch as well.
Ok... I was never really a fan of Transformers cartoon when young as it was not within my era.
Heard that loads of Transformers fanatic were a little upset as a lot of changes had been done to the show as compared to the original cartoons. But for me, I thought it was absolutely COOL and AWESOME!!! The transformation of cars to robotic characters. Totally cool... Watched at Cineleisure cathay cinema with THX sound system. Very cool sound effects for action pack movies but I thought that it was a little too loud but probably because we had corner seats and the speakers are all by the walls.

Oooh... I so like Bumble Bee... So cute!!! In terms of action and speech!!!

Seems like my darling wants to watch it again and I don't think I will mind a single bit for such AWESOME movie!!!

Met Marvy to collect the N73 handphone which Ah Liang wants.

Next we ended at Pet Movers (Pasir Ris) to meet up with Winnie and Zhiwei again.

Next thing I am pondering over now is my job over at my current work place, Besi Singapore.

Our Singapore office is practically shrinking. All spare parts in various locations have been consolidated to Fico Asia Malaysia where the manufacturing plant is there. So our SG spare parts office has been shifted over there causing 2 of my colleagues left with no choice but to leave.
Jac Jie who has been with Besi Singapore for 5 years was given her final pay. And the other colleague of mine who worked here for only 1 year is not really given good benefits as to causing him to leave after 1 - 2 months.

Hai.... now it's left with the Accounts, Admin and HR department with only a total of 4 staff left in the office. I have a feeling that, it's just gonna be a matter of time for us as well.
It's whether we are shifting to a new location in SG or they are all going to be shifted to Malaysia...

Should I be starting to look for a job now or wait till my company really shift in to Malaysia then start looking... hahaha...

Oh well, anyway I have sent out some applications on JobsDB and Jobstreet. Shall see how it goes. But I really do need a different work environment but I'm still in my super comfy comfort zone which will be helpful for my school work... Lol... how how how??

Would I be fit to be in a position as a Personal Banker... omg... Sales... doesn't seem to be my kind of job.

Went all the way to school yesterday to make payment for my next semester's school fees. Argh.... how sick... it's another $4k... oh man!!!

Will be starting classes only on 1st August. So it's one more month of freedom for me...
Oh well... even if there's school, it's also freedom everyday... lol...

After payment made, me and my parents headed down to Clark Quay newly built shopping centre to have dinner at Waraku...

Food is still ok except for food that has Japanese's curry. I made a mistake by ordering the Curry Udon with beef. When my food came, the bowl was practically bigger than my face. The beef given wasn't alot as well. Humpf....
I give it only 2 out of 5.

But the food my parents ordered were nice...

Had been watching a Korean drama 'Autumn Tale - 秋天的童話' on youtube again.
It had been shown a few years back but it's still a heart touching drama. It's one drama that really made my tears flow non-stop right from the start to the end of the show.

Really... What is the difference between love and like? When is it the right time to say 'I love You'? When would the appropriate time?

Would it be like in the drama, you only say it when the person you love has left... or passed on...

That would be so sad...

I wonder... why can he say it in the past... is it because he is so not willing that she left him...
Why not the present but as a heart touching willing basis? Have I done not enough?
I wonder what has been going on...
But we are happy.

Every family has a story. But whether is it a good one or a bad one, it all depends on each and individual. Life is somehow so unpredictable that you will not know what exactly will happen next. It's stressful and depressing to know that if our life's encountering a big crisis. But it's how we are able to try to solve them.

One lesson learnt is that, we should be really clear and open as to what's going on in each other's life. There is nothing to hide away from family member as they are the one who will shield you ultimately... but as for my mum *hmmm it might be a different case as she is rather more on her own* (Those who knows, try defining yourself)

Another lesson learnt, is always to be well-prepared and you have to know that you are stable enough to do a particular thing especially when it's something big. Or else you never know when you will burn your own fingers.

What I'm more amazed is my exam results which was out yesterday!! I practically could not believe my eyes!! BUT DEFINITELY I'M REALLY HAPPY!!

The FIN303 module was the most unexpected of all. Everyone after the exam all came out 'crying' that the paper was a goner. I too thought and was prepared to re-sit for the exam paper.
BUT!! I got a B!! I totally amazed with that grade. At least I thought I would have gotten a C or D.

Thankfully I pass all the core modules of the last semester! Woohoo!!
Just that I have re-take a stupid elective module 'Effective Communication'. Crap module... Waste time, Waste money!!!

Oh boy!! Watched Spider Lilies last night as my BF has downloaded it already.
I give it only 2 popcorns ONLY!!

2 popcorns because of the creativity of the tattoos... but I find the show totally draggy and long-winded. I was practically dozing off halfway through the show. Lucky we did not waste that money to watch it in cinema.

Just a little update:-

Spent the weekend over in JB with Dear's mum and relatives.
Nothing much done but talking and more talking among ourselves.

I was quite naughty as I had a little mood swing on Saturday night when I kind of unable to do my manicure and pedicures.
Oops... but dear somehow accommodated to me but only when Ah Liang said that he needed to go town. So we pulled Mei Yi along with me to enjoy the first experience of this mani and pedi services.
It's been really a long time I really needed those services for my feet is really in a bad state.

What I looking forward MOST is another cartoon... Forgot what's the title of the movie.... But it's about a RAT's desire to become a great italian chef... who ran into a assistant chef of a restaurant who can't cook at all... Ultimately, they became friends and helped each other with the cookings.

P/S: Imagine how bored and restless I can get in the office... to the extent that most of my blog entries are updated in the office itself... haha...

Time spent - wasteful... haha... wasting human resources... haha... but who cares!! I want a pay raise!! Rather I need a new working environment.

Orchard hotel - Intermezzo bar at the moment only have Kak Lia the only hostress in the bar... most of the people I worked with the other time have left for another new work area.
I miss working at Intermezzo bar... providing the customers with great hospitality. But I doubt I can go there to work for studies is hindering my dream path already.

2 more years to graduate but that's if I managed to pass all my modules smoothly.

Haaa.... my BF's colleague actually lent him his Nintendo DS lite for my BF to kill his boredom when at home... Lol... But looks like when ever I am at my BF's place... the Nintendo will be stuck to my hands non-stop. Hahaha... so... end up it's me playing instead.

Whoopee!!!! I have finally changed to a better looking blog skin with a large blog entry space for me to dump whatever pictures I like.

Found the blog skin on blogskins.com and I actually did a little change and touch to it. I changed the original banner to my self-made banner... though its not too good yet... but what make a better banner when I really have the time. Self-improvise...

Life is just so vulnerable!! Treasure it and do the things you want to do you longed wished for, for you never gonna know what's going to happen next.

I received a total shocking news from my FADIS friend on friendster today. If not for him, I didnt even know.... not at all...

My FADIS sir (red cross), Alex, Rest in Peace!
I am overwhelmed with shockness and speechless. It must be really devastating for his girlfriend and family members.

He passed away.... just trying to stop the cabby from driving away who refused to take responsibility of the accident they had. It was just a minor accident but with that irresponsible cabby, my friend had to pass away for unacceptable reason as he tried to block the cabby from driving away with his body.

He's a great guy and always willing work hard in his work. But now..... sigh....

REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND!!!
Im glad to hear from my friend that he passed away peacefully.
But.... Im still in shock!

Im really lucky that me and Wenqin escaped from death or anything worse from our very own accident. Treasure!!!

It sure had been hell of a week from 11th - 16th April 2007.

Firstly, Happy 1st Anniversary to my darling, Chang Boon Khim.
It's been 1 year with loads of good and bad encounters but we have gone through all the tough ones even for the most recent tough situation.

Loads of pictures to share with you guys but I am not going to post all of them for sure.

So... where were we.... Ahhh.... yes....

Thailand, Hatyai for SONGKRAN, aka water festival... which is a new year for the Thais.
It's really a total different culture and you can really see how they enjoyed themselves and so did we.

We did our prayers before we set off on our way to Hatyai.
It's sure a long trip all the way up there. 12 hours to be specific.... it really tests our butts.... IRON BUTT... woohooo....

Hot and wet trip throughout....
It was a good safe trip there except that Darling miss cue and the left box hit onto Vincent's exhaust and darling almost lost control of his bike.

By the time we reached Hatyai itself, it was already 7pm Thai time. Time a good dinner at one of the restaurants at 'Lee Gardens'. Its sure damn cheap.... it's like about 1760baht for a sumptuous dinner.

1 night gone and next was the EVE of SONGKRAN....

Ok.... plan was that we were supposed to head for some tim sum breakfast and then to the waterfalls... but Kwan, Annie, Dudu, Jenni, Roger, Dear and me decided to give it a miss....
We had to pay 200 baht each just to get to the waterfalls.... but they end up paying only 20 baht each....

So the pouring of water festival started early and I ganna.... got SPLASHED... my darling almost wanna whack them as they almost cause me to trip and fall.

But after going back to the hotel to put our stuff down and meeting up with the rest at 6pm for dinner and the REAL SONGKRAN... its totally different feeling....

Sure it was loads of fun.... and on the actual day itself.
With BIG, REALLY BIG BUCKETS of water outside the hotel and not lacking the WATERGUNS!!!

Finally it was time to head down to Kuantan.... we took the country roads rather than the NSH as we wanted to have a view of the great scenery.

Ride was great all the way only till here.....

I felt something not right... his bike just kept brushing onto the road for more than 5 corners...
The next thing which we did not want but actually happened...
WE CRASHED...
The next thing we knew was that we flew and landed....

According to Roger, I landed 5 metres away from where the bike fell. Roger called out to me, my Darling called out to me....
But I could not hear anything.... I did not respond...

I was motionless...
I just could not move...
I was trying so hard to breathe...
I lost my breath for more than 5 seconds...

I was in pain on my right ribcage and back...
I didnt move only until Annie came running to me and shaking me....
I forced myself to breathe...
I just had to make myself breathe...

Next thing I knew, I was standing and walking towards my dear who was injured in his right leg and could not move... then I fell to the ground again...

Thankfully it happened slightly after the railing and not before as it was a downslope from what I remembered. Then came a jeep of army soldiers who assisted us to Gerik Hospital.
I was screaming in pain and still trying to breathe...

Too pain......

But I am glad to be fully geared up with my riding jacket, my SHOEI full face, Rachel's riding pants and army boots....
Without all these, I really would not want to imagine how I would be like....

According to the police, 3 fellas died at the exact spot we crashed...

Now my dear is resting at home as he can't move much without clutches. I took MC not rest but to complete my project assignments... how sick...
Would not want to imagine the bike repair cost as yet... but hoping that the 4D we bought will strike and we will need to worry so much...

Not long after we crashed... Roger crashed too...
This return trip is not good...

After that we missed all the fun.... Oh well...

Doesn't it look fun and nice..... BUT.....
We had to waste time making police report and from there we took a taxi from Gerik town to Ipoh where my friend stays. Thank God I have a friend who helped us alot. Took us in for a night and fed us dinner and gave us water. Really thankful!!! Sean chaffeured me to get bus tickets with early timings to get back to Singapore.
Coaxed my dear to sleep after taking medication...
Cleaned up my darling in the morning so that he will be comfortable during the ride home...
Sean brought us for breakfast and bought bread before we set off.

I was supposed to meet Sean but didnt expect to meet up with him in such a manner. Oh boy!!!

Me and dear will definitely head down to Ipoh once again soon... not only to return the clutches to him and also to give the family a treat for their kindness.

After an 8 hour ride of bus coach; Sri Maju, we finally reached Singapore...
Sri Maju.... recommended bus to travel to Malaysia... comfy seats and with personal TV with different varieties of movies.

By the time we reached home at Serangoon, Dear was thinking of how to explain to his parents, sister, brother and aunt....

Anyway, we didnt trust the procedure over the Malaysia Hospital, we headed to SGH for further check up and this time, we get to see the physical x-ray...
Doctors say xray are fine for the both of us.... I should be suffering from chest contusion... which make me cant walk for a long distance nor carry heavy stuff... Its like mini heart attack.

Dear cant walk still with but is afraid that his knee ligament tear.... or something like this... hmmm....

Dear's injuries... multiple abrasions...

My poor darling in wheelchair... unable to walk...

Me.... loads of brusies on my leg, back, shoulder and arms.... and this funny inprint from the inner lining of the riding pants due to the extreme heat.

Oh well... it is really a chapter of a story in our life....

Riders!!! please be fully geared up esp when you are on trips and ride at your own pace... there is no hurry! Cheers :)

Oh oh.... one thing I'm very proud to show off now after all my hard work....

Today, I would still have to stepped into office to clear all the work I have before I can go... I really would not want to imagine my work desk will be like when I get back 1 week later... Loaded with documents... OMG....

I too happily overslept till 830am this morning... my mum thought that I am not working and didn't wake me up. OMG... rushed like some mad woman... a quick bath with no make-up and hair dripping wet.... lol...

For the first time, I stepped out of the house within 10mins. Thankfully I have planned what I have already intended to wear. Phew~~~~

Okok...
So... my boyfriend and I will have to sleep early tonight after he fetches me from school tonight. We will have to wake up at 430am and set out latest by 515am I guess... Making sure that we reach the customs by 545am and to gather with the rest of the bikers.

12 - 13 Hours of ride... don't know how is it like and wonder how is it like... lol... ok... I shall update about the trip and with all the pictures when I get back.

Everything will be fine and smooth. Definitely a pleasant trip.

Will pray that everyone is well and safe.

My darling is definitely excited yet worried as well for his bike. Everything will be just fine just as long as you think you are comfortable with it and have done the proper and necessary checks. MUACKS....

Ohoh... did I mentioned that I had major food poisoning the last 3 - 5 days... any dairy products will just make my tummy churn and make me puke non-stop... And till now I am still puking whatever food I eat... looks like now my body is resisting whatever food in-take. Hmmm...
